How does the AAVE buyback work?

Mechanism: buy-and-hold · paused. Buys executed by Aave's two DAO executors on CoW Protocol (Finance Committee multisig 0x2274…1bFa and Collector Swap Steward 0xb7D4…4d19), read from CoW's own order API and filtered to AAVE buys. Prices from the Chainlink AAVE/USD oracle on Ethereum. The program is paused: last purchase 2026-04-19, ratified by Snapshot vote on 2026-05-01 after the rsETH bridge incident, with no restart trigger. Both executors are drained and the Collector's allowance to the steward is zero. Bought AAVE goes to the Ecosystem Reserve, it is not burned. Press reports of a live 'Aavenomics 3.0' buying ~292 AAVE/day have no on-chain footprint and are not ingested here.
